I’m Mike Newman, and along with my brothers Colin and Alan, we launched ONE Neon in 2019 as a fun side project from our office. After searching online for an affordable and unique neon sign, we were disappointed to find nothing that met our needs.

Every site we visited either charged exorbitant prices, had terrible reviews, or offered the same generic “Open” neon sign found in every convenience store. That wasn’t what we wanted, so we decided to create our own.

What started as crafting a few neon signs for our home quickly evolved into something much larger. Step 1 - Verifying the Power Supply 🔌

 

Confirm that your power supply is working correctly.  If the Power Supply works ✔️ Ejoy the Neon Glow!

 

✔️ Inspect the AC/DC adapter and cords for any signs of damage: cracks, melted plastic, or burn marks, which could indicate overheating.

✔️ Ensure the AC/DC adapter cord connector tip remains intact, unbent, and unbroken.

✔️ Examine the inside of the DC connector to verify the pin is straight and not missing.

✔️ Check power cable, and try with another cable of your laptop adapter. 

✔️ Confirm if the input voltage to the power supply is enough to generate required output DC voltage and current.

 

In the event that the Power Supply malfunctions ❌

Please provide a photo of the Power Supply, including the cables, load block, and wall plug, and send it to contact@one-neon.com.

 

Step 2 - LED Controller Reconfiguration 💡

 

 

❌ Disconnect the power source.

✔️Unplug the dimming wire from both the power supply and the LED strip light.

✔️Connect the LED Neon Sign directly to the power supply. If it works, the LED controller may be faulty.

✔️Reconnect the LED controller to the LED neon sign and power supply and check functionality, it works fine, there could be some configuration problem.

✔️Using the remote, simultaneously hold down the ‘SPEED +’ and ‘SPEED -‘ buttons for 3 seconds. The indicator light should blink once if done correctly.

❌If the issue persists after reconfiguration.

These screws will make it easy to securely fasten your neon sign to the wall. The screws vary based on the size and thickness of your sign. For smaller and thinner signs, we'll provide screws that fit its specifications perfectly.

 

Can I hang my neon sign from the ceiling?

Definitely! If you'd like to hang your neon sign from the ceiling, just let us know. We'll pre-drill the necessary holes and include a suspension rope for an additional $20, making the installation hassle-free.

How do I connect my new LED neon sign?

Connecting your new LED neon sign is as simple as plugging in a lamp. All you need is an available power outlet, and we provide everything else you need to get it up and running.

 

What if I don't have an available outlet for an event?

No problem! If there's no available outlet for your event, we've got you covered. We can provide a battery to power your neon sign, suitable for small signs. Just mention your need for a battery when you inquire, and we'll include it in your quote.

 

What should I do if I encounter an issue with the power supply?

If you experience issues with the power supply, please follow these steps:

• Check that the green light on the power supply is illuminated.
• Try plugging the power supply into different wall outlets to ensure it's not an outlet problem.

Are there alternative connection options for larger signs?

Depending on the size of your neon sign, especially if it comes in two parts, you may have different installation options. For 80% of orders, the setup is straightforward. However, if your sign is quite large, we may use two cables to ensure optimal lighting and provide a more powerful dimmer.

We provide dimmers exclusively for our indoor signs. Unfortunately, we do not offer outdoor dimmers. The dimmer feature is specifically designed for indoor signs, enabling you to control and adjust the brightness of your sign. Of course, you can hardwire your Neon Store sign, but we highly advise seeking help from a qualified professional for this task. Our signs are designed for easy plug-and-play use, complete with a power supply. However, if you opt for hardwiring, it’s crucial to ensure the installation is safe and done correctly.

Q4: What should I do if the remote is not syncing with the Dimmer box? A4: If the remote isn't syncing, try these three troubleshooting steps: Step 1: Press and hold the sync button on the Dimmer box. Step 2: While still holding the sync button, press and release any button on the remote. Step 3: Release the sync button on the Dimmer box. This process should establish a connection between the remote and the Dimmer box. If problems persist, please reach out to our support team for further help.

The dimensions provided reflect the largest measurement, either Length or Height. If you'd like specific measurements, just send us a message.

The minimum height for each letter is 5cm. There are limitations on how small the neon can be cut and how sharply it can be bent. While smaller sizes are possible, we generally recommend a minimum of 10cm per letter for the best results.
